Production Supervisor

About the role

Join Nestlé Purina’s Atlanta plant as a Production Supervisor, leading hourly teams in the manufacturing of dry pet food brands. You will oversee production planning, output, equipment maintenance, quality, safety, and sanitation while driving continuous improvement across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and lead hourly employees in processing or packaging operations.
• Manage processing and packaging schedules to maximize output while minimizing costs, actively participating in problem‑solving.
• Lead integrated work groups to achieve results aligned with the plant’s continuous improvement plan.
• Coordinate repairs and modifications with engineering and maintenance teams, taking ownership of assigned areas.
• Ensure products meet quality checkpoints and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Provide a safe working environment for all associates.
• Coordinate product changeovers with material handling, processing, packing, and quality assurance.
• Strive to meet daily production demands.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, military, or a related environment.
• 1+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, military, or related setting.
• Willingness to work any shift (first, second, or third), including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
