Maintenance Technician Class C (Multi-Craft)

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems, including facilities, unloading, processing, packing and warehouse operations. You will troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment. Working safely at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems, including motors and PLCs.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs.
• Perform predictive maintenance activities like vibration analysis and oil sample collection.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment, or a completed 2‑year technical degree.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and all shifts.

Required skills

• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems.
• Electrical controls troubleshooting, including motors and PLCs.
• Proficiency with test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Repair of gear reducers, conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
• Maintenance of wastewater systems, boilers, cooling towers, and building infrastructure.
• Predictive maintenance techniques like vibration analysis and oil sampling.
