Production Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

Join 3M’s manufacturing team in Cordova, IL as a Production Operator. You will work on a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule, supporting the safe and efficient production of high‑quality products in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production and chemical processing equipment according to established procedures.
• Perform bulk loading and unloading, transfer finished goods, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Collect samples, conduct basic calculations, document production data, and manage inventory and labeling.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area by cleaning equipment, totes, hoses, and supporting container management.
• Carry out routine equipment inspections, first‑line maintenance, and minor repairs while following safety and environmental protocols.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing, agriculture, construction, or a similar field.
• Willingness to work rotating 12‑hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
