Production Supervisor

About the role

3M is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of hourly employees at its Cordova, Illinois facility. You will ensure safe, efficient production while supporting continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead approximately 15 hourly shift production employees.
• Execute safe and efficient production operations at the Cordova plant.
• Determine staffing deployments and prioritize tasks for the crew.
• Support safety, quality, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Work a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule.

Required profile

• High School diploma/GED or higher (verified prior to start).
• Five (5) years of combined experience in a lead operator role or equivalent in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Cordova, IL and travel up to 5% domestically or internationally.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerBI.
