Production Manager – Factory-Built Housing

About the role

Reframe Systems seeks a Production Manager to lead daily execution in its factory‑built housing micro‑factory. This floor‑leadership position drives safety, productivity, and continuous improvement in a high‑velocity, technology‑forward environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily/weekly plan attainment for throughput, minutes/ft², schedule and rework metrics.
• Run start‑of‑shift and end‑of‑shift routines, ensuring the team knows the plan, priorities, and constraints.
• Coordinate labor, materials and readiness to protect workflow and surface blockers with clear solution options.
• Maintain safety performance, conduct hazard escalations, audits and incident response.
• Enforce SOPs, quality gates and partner with Ops Engineering for training and certification.
• Lead, coach and develop team leads and operators, implementing cross‑training to reduce burnout.
• Partner with Continuous Improvement to identify, prioritize and execute throughput‑boosting projects.
• Own the area scoreboard, track downtime, quality escapes and improvement actions, and report in weekly reviews.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years leading teams in fast‑paced manufacturing or fulfillment environments.
• Proven record of meeting output targets while maintaining safety and quality.
• Strong people leadership with coaching, conflict management and performance conversations.
• Data‑driven mindset: runs a scoreboard, identifies gaps and drives corrective actions.
• Ability to create structure in ambiguous settings and communicate issues with clear context and options.

Required skills

• Lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, daily management).
• Training Within Industry (TWI) methodology.
• Experience with digital work instructions, dashboards and workflow tools.
