Production Inventory Control Analyst

About the role

The Production Inventory Control Analyst at Thorne ensures accurate daily tracking of production materials using the company’s MRP/ERP system. Working the B Shift (10:00 pm – 8:30 am, Wednesday‑Saturday), the analyst supports inventory integrity across production lines and branch warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and monitor production material inventory in the ERP/MRP system according to SOPs.
• Verify that all issued materials match pick sheets/MMR and coordinate returns with material handlers.
• Post material consumption, direct labor hours, and inventory transactions daily.
• Research and document inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Lead cycle counts and assist with warehouse transfer accuracy.
• Support implementation of inventory control measurements and ensure unit‑of‑measure consistency.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong data‑entry ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately under shift hours.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
