About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Product Marketing V to develop and execute business and marketing plans for its semiconductor and display equipment portfolio. The role focuses on market penetration, product positioning, and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop abstract scope business and marketing plans, assess market penetration and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share.
• Recommend investment decisions for new product development and conduct competitive analysis for specific products or product lines.
• Drive Red Team analysis and assist with pricing strategies to protect market leadership while enhancing profit margins.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales to develop new products, enhance existing ones, and communicate critical market needs.
• Support the field to ensure synergistic account approaches and optimize opportunities for account partnership and penetration.
• Manage the release of abstract products through the end of their product life cycle.

Required profile

• Regarded as the technical expert in the product marketing discipline with breadth of expertise across related functions.
• Anticipates business and regulatory issues and recommends product, process or service improvements.
• Leads projects with notable risk and complexity, developing strategy for execution.
• Solves unique and complex problems with innovative thinking and influences direction and resource allocation.
• Communicates complex ideas to senior stakeholders and persuades adoption of new viewpoints.
