Job description

About the role

Campfire is a next‑gen core accounting platform for modern mid‑market finance teams, building the future of ERP with an AI‑native solution. As the second Product Marketing Manager, you will own a product line or persona, shaping positioning, launch strategy and sales enablement while feeding market insights back into product decisions. You’ll collaborate across Growth, Brand, Field and Customer Marketing to keep the story consistent.

Key responsibilities

  • Own positioning, messaging and narrative for the assigned area, grounded in customer research, win/loss analysis and competitive insights.
  • Lead go‑to‑market for product launches, including tiering, launch plans, internal readiness, launch content and cross‑team coordination.
  • Build and maintain sales enablement assets such as pitch decks, battlecards, objection handling guides and demo narratives, and run training with Sales and SDRs.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence, track competitors, update battlecards and brief the field.
  • Partner with Product on roadmap input, naming, pricing and packaging decisions.
  • Collaborate with Growth on campaign messaging, with Brand on core narrative, and with Customer Marketing on proof points for launches.
  • Measure launch impact through enablement adoption, reach, pipeline influence and message testing.

Required profile

  • 4 to 7+ years of B2B software product marketing experience with end‑to‑end ownership of positioning and launches.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling ability to simplify complex products.
  • Comfort conducting customer interviews, surveys, win/loss analyses and competitive teardowns.
  • Proven experience enabling sales teams with reusable content.
  • Cross‑functional operator who can run launches with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing without formal authority.
  • Analytical mindset to size segments, interpret pipeline data and prioritize initiatives.
  • Domain experience in ERP (nice to have).
  • Experience managing pricing and packaging changes.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Command of the Message or MEDDPICC.
