Product Manager, Strategic Marketing

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions for semiconductor and display manufacturing. The Product Manager, Strategic Marketing will drive market assessment, product portfolio integration and strategic direction for abstract product lines. This role partners with cross‑functional teams to shape product positioning and growth in targeted markets.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing and potential markets, analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and articulate strategies to meet business objectives and integrate abstract products into a coherent portfolio.
• Manage product portfolio business plans, positioning, market requirements and marketing plans.
• Create compelling market analysis presentations and recommend market segments to pursue.
• Partner with product marketing, product management and MarCom to align marketing functions with strategic goals.
• Oversee creation of product strategies that integrate with Applied Materials offerings.

Required profile

• Technical expert with deep knowledge in the relevant field and broad understanding of related disciplines.
• Ability to anticipate business and regulatory issues and recommend improvements.
• Proven leadership of complex, high‑risk projects and development of execution strategies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to address unique, high‑impact business challenges.
• Effective communication of complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
