Product Management Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

ABB is hiring a Product Management Intern for Summer 2027, reporting to the Manager, Product Management. The internship offers hands-on experience through various projects, with daily tasks directed by the manager. It is an onsite position in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research on key industry competitors, analyzing product portfolios, pricing strategies and value propositions to find gaps and opportunities.
• Work with Product Management, Applications Engineering and Technical Support to update and maintain product documentation such as user manuals, quick-start guides, firmware release notes and technical reference materials.
• Help develop and revise customer-facing and internal technical documentation so it is accurate, usable and aligned with product updates.
• Support new product launches by creating and coordinating marketing collateral, sales enablement materials and product communications.
• Contribute to ongoing product management initiatives through research and support of operational and strategic product activities.
• Gain exposure to the full product lifecycle by working with engineering, marketing, sales and support stakeholders.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, organize and prioritize tasks, and handle several tasks at once with attention to quality.

What we offer

• Pay of $20-$34 per hour, depending on qualifications, graduation year and experience.
• Exposure to the full product lifecycle and cross-functional product work.
