Procurement Sourcing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement team. In this role you will own sourcing and negotiation for purchases across multiple spend categories, guide requests end‑to‑end through our procurement process, and use spend data to shape where we go after savings next.

Key responsibilities

• Lead vendor negotiations for commercial terms, pricing, discounts, payment terms, ramps, and renewal protections across multiple spend categories.
• Run competitive sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), build bid comparisons and make clear recommendations.
• Own the renewal calendar, engage stakeholders early and eliminate surprise auto‑renewals.
• Shepherd purchase requests through intake‑to‑pay, coordinating with Legal, Security, IT and Finance.
• Manage supplier onboarding, including documentation, tax forms, banking verification and system records.
• Maintain clean, auditable records of approvals, agreements and negotiation history.
• Analyze spend data to identify consolidation opportunities, pricing outliers and category trends.
• Present savings, cost avoidance and spend‑under‑management reports to leadership and budget owners.

Required profile

• 2+ years of sourcing, procurement or strategic purchasing experience with hands‑on vendor negotiation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong finance fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Customer‑service orientation toward internal stakeholders while upholding process and policy.
• Self‑driven, comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize without close supervision.
• Quick learner in a fast‑moving industry and evolving procurement function.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with credibility to negotiate senior vendor counterparts.
• Experience in a high‑growth technology or SaaS environment is a plus.
