Procurement Project Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Project Specialist will use project management expertise to drive innovation‑focused procurement projects across the organization. You will translate business requirements into clear project plans, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure timely delivery while managing risks.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and prioritize business requirements for each assigned project.
• Own project KPIs, track progress, and report status to procurement leadership.
• Coordinate information flow between business partners and category teams.
• Lead early procurement involvement within the Innovate to Launch (I2L) framework.
• Represent procurement in cross‑functional meetings and communicate sourcing constraints.
• Hold owners accountable for on‑time completion and manage project risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of purchasing, material management, or technical/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with stage‑gate or similar project methodologies preferred.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• SAP.
• Stage gate project management methodology.
