About the role
The Procurement Manager for Store Operations leads all store‑related procurement programs supporting domestic locations. This role focuses on physical inventory, store supplies, packaging, and related vendor‑managed services, ensuring alignment with business needs, budgets, and timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership for store procurement programs, including inventory, supplies, packaging, transfers, and damage activities.
- Develop and manage direct reports, setting clear priorities and ensuring execution against seasonal and annual objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Stores, Procurement, Inventory Control, Asset Protection, and vendor partners.
- Operationalize programs that improve store inventory accuracy, readiness, efficiency, and shrink accountability.
- Oversee the lifecycle of packaging programs, influencing requirements, usage guidance, field readiness, and store adoption.
- Partner with Procurement on buys, budgets, special purchase orders, and peak‑period readiness strategies.
- Align inventory timelines, transfers, damages, and returns with distribution center activities.
- Analyze feedback and metrics to drive process improvement, cost optimization, and enhanced store experience.
- Collaborate with Asset Protection, HR, and field leadership on shrink reduction and regulatory initiatives.
- Lead cross‑functional projects supporting enterprise store operations initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience in store‑focused procurement or supply chain functions.
- Ability to develop and guide teams toward clear priorities and business goals.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, acting as a liaison across multiple internal and external partners.
- Experience operationalizing procurement programs that impact inventory accuracy and store efficiency.
- Track record of influencing budgeting, purchasing, and peak‑period readiness strategies.
- Analytical mindset for evaluating program effectiveness and identifying improvement opportunities.
