Procurement Manager – Roofing

About the role

The Procurement Manager – Roofing is a hands‑on position responsible for ensuring roofing and restoration projects meet company and customer quality expectations. The role spends significant time in the field, working closely with project managers, subcontractors and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality standards for roofing, restoration and construction work.
• Conduct regular field inspections and final inspections to verify compliance with scope, specifications and manufacturer requirements.
• Document inspections, deficiencies, corrective actions and maintain records for warranty and close‑out.
• Identify recurring quality issues, lead corrective‑action plans and track their implementation.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance, enforce quality standards and support qualification reviews.

Required profile

• Hands‑on professional with extensive experience in commercial roofing and building‑envelope projects.
• Ability to work on‑site, travel to project locations and collaborate with project managers, estimators and leadership.
• Strong analytical mindset to detect potential failures before rework, callbacks or warranty claims.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built‑up roofing, coating and metal roofing systems.
• Understanding of waterproofing details, flashing, drainage, penetrations and other building‑envelope components.
• Proficiency in inspection procedures, deficiency tracking and corrective‑action documentation.
