Procurement Manager – Global Release Liners

About the role

The Procurement Manager for Global Release Liners will lead category strategy across 3M businesses worldwide, driving cost savings, supplier resilience and value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide category ownership and strategic procurement leadership for the Release Liners portfolio.
• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction, working‑capital improvement and supplier consolidation.
• Negotiate and manage complex supplier contracts, ensuring competitive pricing, quality and service.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships that deliver innovative technologies.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, R&D, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to align procurement initiatives.
• Analyze market data, supplier performance and cost drivers to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects and drive digitalization using automation, data analytics, pricing tools, SAP and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Integrate sustainability and corporate responsibility into category strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing or category management within a global manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market trends and supplier data.
• Demonstrated success in leading cost‑reduction and supply‑chain resilience initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
