Processing Operator IV – Seed Production

About the role

Join BASF’s Agricultural Solutions team as a Processing Operator IV, working in the seed processing sub‑departments at the Parma, ID site. You will handle warehousing, conditioning, enhancement, treatment and packaging/shipping of seed to meet manufacturing orders.

Key responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures and accredited NAL procedures to maintain processing standards.
• Operate lift trucks and reach trucks safely after certification to move seed and materials.
• Execute assigned processes within the PRC sub‑department and perform SAP reporting.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with all safety policies.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing or agricultural operations experience (preferred).
• Ability to obtain forklift/reach‑truck certification.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Friday, occasional Saturdays and overtime during peak seasons.

Required skills

• Forklift and reach‑truck operation.
• Basic computer use, Microsoft Office applications.
• SAP experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of safe work practices.
