Process Designer / Drafter

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Process Designer/Drafter to join our Process Design & Operations team. You will translate laboratory and pilot‑scale innovations into detailed engineering designs and 3D plant models that support our commercialization strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Generate detailed 3D equipment layouts, piping arrangements and structural models using advanced design suites.
• Draft and update Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and isometric piping schematics.
• Apply standard pipe specifications, material choices and ASME/ANSI standards to model routing, valves and inline components.
• Collaborate with internal R&D/process engineering teams and external engineering firms to convert mass balances and FEL packages into construction‑ready designs.
• Maintain CAD standards, component libraries and master drawing archives for cross‑project consistency.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and fabricators to incorporate vendor drawings into the master plant model.

Required profile

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Computer‑Aided Drafting/Design or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 1–3 years of drafting and design experience in an industrial environment, preferably within an EPC/EPCM firm.
• Proactive, figure‑it‑out mentality and ability to work both in the office and on‑site during field verifications.

Required skills

• Advanced hands‑on proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Proficiency with Revit for plant modeling.
