Private Household Manager – Family Operations & Special Needs Support

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Private Household Manager to support a busy, faith‑based family of six in Cincinnati. The role combines after‑school child care, especially for an autistic child, with meal preparation, household organization and occasional administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engaged after‑school support Tuesday‑Thursday, including school‑bus pickup, homework help, snack preparation and evening supervision.
• Plan and execute a weekly bulk‑cooking block (≈5 hours) to prepare family meals, snacks and keep the kitchen organized.
• Maintain household order by resetting high‑use areas, managing errands (dry‑cleaning, donations, prescriptions), restocking supplies and coordinating with the professional cleaning team.
• Assist with family logistics such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, mail handling and travel preparation.
• Support children with laundry responsibilities, linen care and occasional deeper organization projects.

Required profile

• Authorized to work in the United States and able to maintain a smoke‑free, vape‑free environment.
• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
• Experience caring for children, including meaningful support for autistic or neurodivergent children.
• CPR/first‑aid certification preferred and up‑to‑date vaccinations as per AAP/CDC guidelines.
• Demonstrated initiative, reliability, good judgment and strong communication with parents.
