Private Duty Home Health Aide (HHA)

About the role

BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide private duty care to patients in Seminole and Orange counties within its Assistive Care Division. You will support adults one-on-one so they can stay safe and independent at home, working under a written plan of care prepared by a registered nurse.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, toileting and nail care
• Offer household support such as light housekeeping, laundry and bed making
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Help with range of motion exercises and ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Remind clients about their medications

Required profile

• HHA certificate of 75 hours or a CNA license
• CPR certificate from an in-person class
• Current Level 2 background check through AHCA
• One year of work experience in any company or industry
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned
