Primary Care Physician (65+ Patients)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join a senior‑focused primary care clinic in Baton Rouge. The position emphasizes comprehensive care for community members aged 65 and older, allowing physicians to reconnect with the core purpose of medicine in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients 65+ with extended appointment times.
• Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, and pharmacists to deliver coordinated care.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Geriatrics preferred).
• Experienced, compassionate physician committed to senior patient care and able to thrive in a small‑patient‑load clinic.
