About the role

Jackson Hewitt is seeking enthusiastic entry‑level seasonal tax preparers to join its fast‑paced teams across the United States. You will work directly with clients to guide them through the tax filing process, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Explain tax concepts and answer client questions.
• Prepare and complete federal, state, and multi‑state tax returns, including year‑end and multi‑year filings.
• Provide IRS audit support and assistance.
• Submit electronic filings and deliver printed copies for client review and signature.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all tax regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; no prior tax experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work flexible hours during the tax season.
