Practice Director (Finance & Accounting)

About the role

Robert Half is recruiting a Practice Director for a Finance & Accounting practice in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, as a permanent placement. The Practice Director maintains above-average performance metrics, leads business generation, directs and motivates direct reports, takes part in hiring new hires and communicates effectively across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue-generating activities and practice group performance, and meet productivity standards for the individual and staff
• Manage resources, attract and source talent, and train, develop and retain staff
• Achieve pricing goals and recognize business trends quickly
• Build customer retention and expansion strategy and lead customer loyalty through superior service
• Communicate clearly, promote collaboration, motivate and lead by example, and resolve issues with staff, clients and candidates
• Manage change, run effective meetings and lead with character, inclusivity and fairness

Required profile

• 1+ years of talent solutions and/or management experience, or equivalent
• Proven performance in a talent manager or director role
• Demonstrated success in business generation and business development
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred

Required skills

• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, databases and other technology systems

What we offer

• Typical salary range of $50,000 to $70,000, negotiable, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus
