Power Project Manager – St. Thomas, USVI

About the role

Join a dynamic team delivering critical power infrastructure projects that strengthen and modernize essential utility systems in the U.S. Virgin Islands. As a Power Project Manager you will lead the planning, design, procurement, construction and close‑out of complex capital improvement projects, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project development from programming through completion, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Lead budgeting, scheduling, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and close‑out activities.
• Administer contracts for architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop bid packaging strategies and oversee pre‑bid and post‑bid meetings.
• Monitor scope, budgets, schedules and performance to guarantee successful delivery.
• Review and approve consultant invoices and contractor payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of pre‑design, pre‑construction, project planning, contract administration and construction management.
• Experience with utility, energy or power infrastructure projects.
• Preferred: PMP or CCM certification and experience with publicly funded capital improvement programs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with project management software.
