About the role

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the Saavedra lab, Department of Biology, focusing on innate immune responses and host‑pathogen interactions.

Key responsibilities

Design, execute, analyze and interpret experiments independently.
Present research findings at lab meetings and scientific conferences.
Mentor undergraduate and graduate students.

Required profile

Ph.D. in immunology, microbiology, cell biology or related area.
At least one first‑author publication in a peer‑reviewed journal.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

Experience with in vivo animal models (preferred).
Experience with multi‑color flow cytometry (preferred).
