Postdoctoral Research Associate – Feed Management Education

About the role

The Texas A&M AgriLife Research department is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to lead educational initiatives for the Feed Management Committee. The role focuses on training NRCS personnel and other stakeholders in sustainable feeding practices through workshops, webinars, and online courses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver targeted educational programs, including workshops, webinars, and online courses for NRCS staff, Extension professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Design and implement a “Train the Trainers” program to equip conservation professionals with feed management tools.
• Collaborate with the Feed Management Committee to align training materials with project goals and current scientific research.
• Create training resources and educational content for both online platforms and in‑person workshops.
• Support outreach and engagement strategies to promote adoption of sustainable feed management practices.
• Contribute to the development of outreach materials, mentor undergraduate and graduate students, and assist with grant writing.

Required profile

• PhD in animal science, soil and crop sciences, or a closely related field.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs for technical audiences.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders, including policymakers and academia.
• Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
