Post Doctoral Fellow – Pediatric Surgery

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Post Doctoral Fellow to join the Pediatric Surgery research team. This full‑time, on‑site position supports cutting‑edge clinical and translational research aimed at improving outcomes for children undergoing surgery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze experimental studies in pediatric surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, clinicians, and graduate students to integrate research findings into clinical practice.
• Prepare manuscripts, conference presentations, and grant proposals.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with institutional regulations.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent in a biomedical, surgical, or related field.
