Portfolio Management Analyst – CIB Lending

About the role

The SCIB Portfolio Management Analyst supports US SCIB COO Lending Solutions by providing analytical and administrative assistance across a range of corporate and investment banking lending products. This entry‑to‑early‑career position focuses on credit spreading, portfolio monitoring, covenant and collateral tracking, and preparation of periodic reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial spreading and basic credit analysis for assigned borrowers using financial statements and internal templates.
• Gather and organize data for quarterly and annual reviews, including financials, covenant certificates, collateral information, and borrower updates.
• Prepare variance analysis, ratio calculations, covenant metrics, and portfolio summaries for senior staff review.
• Maintain trackers for financial statement delivery, covenant certificates, borrowing base certificates, collateral deliverables, insurance requirements, and review schedules.
• Identify missing or late deliverables, data inconsistencies, and potential exceptions for escalation.
• Assist with amendment, waiver, and lifecycle event tracking by collecting data, updating logs, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with Transaction Management, Agency, Operations, and Portfolio Management teams to ensure post‑close monitoring requirements are met.
• Support recurring status reporting and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Entry‑to‑early‑career individual contributor with a strong interest in corporate and investment banking lending.
• Ability to work with financial statements, perform quantitative analysis, and maintain accurate records.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple monitoring obligations simultaneously.
