Portfolio Analytics Specialist

About the role

Arcana Analytics is seeking a Portfolio Analytics Specialist to lead client onboarding and drive advanced analytics solutions for hedge funds and asset managers. You will act as the bridge between institutional investors and our product, translating complex portfolio questions into scalable tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding and implementation projects for sophisticated investment firms.
• Partner with portfolio managers, risk and operations teams to capture workflow and analytical requirements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and data‑science teams to enhance platform capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve client issues across analytical, operational and technical domains.
• Identify recurring client needs and workflow inefficiencies to shape product roadmap.
• Communicate analytical insights and platform functionality clearly to institutional users.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in an analytical, client‑facing role within financial services, fintech or investment technology.
• Strong project ownership with ability to manage initiatives from onboarding through execution.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field; strong academic performance (GPA 3.7+).
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets, portfolio management and institutional investment workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for explaining complex concepts to sophisticated clients.
