About the role
The Knight‑Georgetown Institute is seeking a Policy Analyst to join a small, high‑performance team focused on technology, competition, and AI policy. This early‑career position offers the chance to translate rigorous research into actionable recommendations for policymakers in the United States and Europe.
Key responsibilities
- Produce research briefs, policy memos, and reports on competition policy and generative AI.
- Synthesize evidence from economics, law, computer science, and social science literature.
- Engage with senior researchers, practitioners, and policymakers across the US, EU, and UK.
- Contribute to the design and execution of high‑level events, including the annual Digital Competition Conference.
- Help shape KGI’s policy communications and outreach strategies.
Required profile
- Early‑career professional with strong analytical and writing abilities.
- Demonstrated interest in technology policy, competition law, or AI governance.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate across disciplines.
