Plumber – Commercial & Residential

About the role

The Plumber is responsible for installing, modifying, maintaining, and commissioning plumbing systems in commercial and residential applications. This role involves work on water supply, drainage, piping, gas systems, fixtures, boilers, water heaters, and hydronic heating systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, modify, and connect plumbing systems and components using materials such as copper, PEX, PVC, CPVC, and black iron.
• Install water supply, drainage, waste, vent, and gas piping systems, as well as fixtures, water heaters, boilers, and pumps.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and manufacturer specifications.
• Pressure test and inspect systems for leaks and code compliance.
• Coordinate with HVAC technicians, electricians, project managers, and other trades.

Required profile

• Valid plumbing license or Journeyman Plumber license as required by state or local regulations.
• 3+ years of plumbing installation and/or service experience, preferably commercial.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical plans.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Required skills

• Installation and repair of copper, PEX, PVC, CPVC, and black iron piping.
• Pressure testing and leak detection.
• Blueprint and mechanical plan interpretation.
• Brazing and soldering proficiency.
• Backflow prevention certification (if applicable).
