Plant Senior Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

3M is seeking a Plant Senior Manager to lead its Tilton, New Hampshire facility. This senior position combines operational excellence, safety stewardship, and strategic planning to drive continuous improvement and value creation across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visible EHS leadership, ensuring compliance and accountability across all operations.
• Develop and execute strategic plans and budgets to improve cost efficiency, yield, and overall plant productivity.
• Oversee supply chain execution and inventory management to meet customer value‑stream performance targets, including delivery, capacity, and supplier management.
• Accelerate end‑to‑end supply chain performance and resolve customer inquiries promptly.
• Define manufacturing strategies for workforce performance, capital equipment planning, technology advancement, and employee development.
• Champion inclusive programs that foster a great workplace for all employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• At least four years of supervisory or management experience.
• Minimum five years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military setting.
• Demonstrated strong leadership ability and experience leading high‑performance teams.
• Understanding of principle‑based leadership and behaviors.
