Planner – E-commerce Merchandise Planning

About the role

SKIMS is looking for a highly analytical Planner to drive sales and inventory strategies for its e‑commerce business. You will own style‑level buying and in‑season inventory management, using data and forecasts to maximize sales, optimize stock, and improve margins.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly sales, inventory and e‑commerce performance and deliver actionable insights.
• Produce clear reporting recaps and ad‑hoc analysis for cross‑functional partners.
• Own inventory laddering and SKU‑level projections for core styles to support a “never out of stock” strategy.
• Execute monthly buys for core products and recommend quarterly assortment updates.
• Build pre‑season buy plans for seasonal and non‑core categories in partnership with Merchandising.
• Collaborate with wholesale and planning teams to improve inventory turns, revenue and margins.
• Monitor purchase order flow and production updates, recommending adjustments to protect OTB and IMU.
• Conduct size‑level analysis and advise on size curves for accurate allocation.
• Identify risks and opportunities and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the evolution of planning tools, best practices and processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management or a related analytical role within apparel, retail or e‑commerce.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions‑oriented attitude.
