PIV Support Clerk – On‑site Credentialing at USCIS

About the role

Crossroads Talent Solutions is seeking dependable, detail‑oriented PIV Support Clerks to provide on‑site credentialing and security administrative support for the USCIS Office of Security & Integrity. The position involves issuing Personal Identity Verification cards, fingerprinting, and managing access control in a federal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Issue, enroll, sponsor, revoke, recover and destroy DHS PIV cards.
• Provide fingerprinting services for authorized DHS personnel.
• Process visitor badges, maintain visitor logs and schedule appointments using DHS credentialing systems.
• Track card production, issuance, revocation and destruction, and manage inventory of HSPD‑12 supplies.
• Perform daily DHS Credentialing Facility opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain and update access control systems and security databases.
• Monitor security‑related email inboxes and assist Regional Security Chiefs.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets and administrative documents; support audits and inventory reviews.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and a current Public Trust or Clearance.
• At least three of the last five years residing in the United States (unless exempt).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
• Professional communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with federal policies.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
