Physician - Pediatrician - Full Time Academic

About the role

Ochsner LSU Health System – Monroe Medical Center and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center‑Shreveport are seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Pediatrician for a full‑time academic appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Pediatrics. The role blends direct patient care with teaching responsibilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality pediatric care in inpatient and outpatient environments.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, offering leadership and guidance.
• Participate in departmental activities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses.

Required profile

• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Eligibility for active Louisiana medical licensure.
• Graduating residents are encouraged to apply.
