About the role

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a full‑time Ophthalmology physician to join its busy clinic. The position is clinic‑based with rotations to area clinics and includes shared call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care in a clinic setting.
Rotate to area clinics as needed.
Participate in shared call rotation.
Engage in corneal and refractive surgery cases if interested.

Required profile

Board‑certified or eligible ophthalmologist.
Experience in general ophthalmology and anterior segment preferred but not required.
Interest in corneal/refractive surgery welcomed.

Required skills

Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
