About the role
Mercor is seeking a practicing U.S.-based physician to join a leading AI research lab on a remote, contract basis. You will apply your medical expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated medical content, helping to shape the next generation of healthcare AI tools.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with AI research teams to assess and refine medical outputs generated by AI systems.
- Develop realistic diagnostic cases and create scoring rubrics for AI responses.
- Evaluate the accuracy, depth, and relevance of AI-generated medical content.
- Provide structured, detailed feedback to enhance training data and model performance.
- Work independently and asynchronously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality standards.
Required profile
- U.S.-based, actively practicing MD.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong technical proficiency and ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
