Physical Therapy Assistant

About the role

Revere Health in St. George is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support its spine rehabilitation team. The role is PRN, providing flexible, as‑needed coverage during clinic hours (Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑6 pm). The assistant works directly with patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to deliver prescribed therapeutic interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Follow treatment plans developed by physical therapists for each patient.
• Assist patients with active and passive exercises, muscle re‑education, gait and functional training using equipment such as pulleys, weights, steps and inclined surfaces.
• Provide modalities including massage, heat and other therapeutic procedures.
• Instruct patients on posture control and home exercise programs.
• Evaluate, document and report patient progress for therapist review.

Required profile

• Current PTA license (Certified Physical Therapist Assistant).
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Good computer proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Availability to work PRN during clinic hours.
