About the role

The Physical Therapist – PRN provides inpatient evaluation and treatment programs based on physician orders. The role collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients achieve specific functional goals and transition safely to post‑acute or home care.

Key responsibilities

  • Performs patient evaluations and develops inpatient PT treatment programs based on physician orders.
  • Assesses patient response, updates treatment plans, and documents care according to hospital standards.
  • Collaborates with the healthcare team to determine appropriate post‑acute or home care disposition.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current state PT license or eligibility for licensure (including reciprocity).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to travel between facilities as needed.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Strong judgment and decision‑making in patient care.
