Physical Security Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a seasoned Physical Security Senior Systems Administrator to lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise‑wide physical security platforms. You will ensure the safety of personnel, facilities, and assets by managing cloud‑based access control and video surveillance solutions across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Administer cloud‑based access control platforms such as Verkada, Alta Access, and Feenics.
• Configure users, roles, credentials, schedules, door groups, and hardware devices.
• Program access control systems for new construction and expansions, including panel setup, reader assignments, door logic, alarm integration, and elevator control.
• Oversee system commissioning, functional and acceptance testing, and turnover documentation.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and coordinate vendor repairs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and access control policies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST 800, FIPS and support security audits and investigations.
• Collaborate with IT to secure network configurations and cloud connectivity.
• Provide training and guidance to security staff and end‑users.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience administering enterprise physical security systems.
• Strong knowledge of access control hardware (controllers, readers, locks, panels).
• Experience with cloud‑managed video surveillance solutions.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE, firewalls).
• Familiarity with identity management and role‑based access control (RBAC).
• Proven ability to support multi‑site, distributed environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
