Phone Nurse (RN) – Maumelle Clinic

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a Phone Nurse for the Maumelle Clinic. In this day‑shift position you will provide telephone triage, patient education, and care coordination to support the clinic’s outpatient population.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls and conduct clinical assessments using established protocols.
• Provide evidence‑based advice, referrals, and follow‑up instructions.
• Document all interactions accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain compliance with privacy, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Availability for day‑shift hours.
• Strong verbal communication and clinical judgment.
