About the role
Join Central Georgia Technical College as a Phlebotomy Instructor, delivering both classroom and clinical training to future healthcare professionals. You will work primarily on the Macon campus, with occasional travel to other college sites. The position offers a stable academic environment with state‑supported benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organize and deliver phlebotomy courses in classroom and clinical settings.
- Maintain grade books, evaluate student progress, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
- Participate in professional development, assist the Program Chair with budgeting and equipment inventory, and travel to multiple campus sites as needed.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (e.g., AMT, ASPT, NCCT) or as a Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
- Minimum two years of experience as a certified phlebotomy or medical laboratory technician.
