Pharmacist – Mail Order Pharmacy

About the role

LifeMD is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join its high‑volume mail‑order pharmacy. The position is based in the United States and operates as a closed‑door pharmacy, focusing on accurate and timely fulfillment of patient prescriptions.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise professional judgment across all pharmacy operations, including drug utilization review for therapeutic duplication, drug‑drug interactions, dosage appropriateness, and contraindications.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal pharmacy statutes.
• Review and interpret prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Verify technician work such as filled prescriptions, cassette preparation for semi‑automated dispensing devices, and inventory receipt.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and provide telephone counseling to patients.
• Participate in in‑service education programs and stay current with continuing education requirements.
• Maintain required licensure and promptly report any disciplinary actions.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Pharmacist In Charge.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Licensed and registered Pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum six months of pharmacy practice experience.
• Ability to perform professional duties in a mail‑order, high‑volume setting.
