About the role
This contract position involves caring for dogs or cats and maintaining cleanliness in the PetCare facilities at Nestlé’s St. Joseph, MO site. The role requires on‑site presence for four 10‑hour shifts each week.
Key responsibilities
- Perform sanitation and cleaning duties of facilities.
- Assist with feeding pets, including placing, retrieving, and cleaning food bowls.
- Provide limited grooming as necessary.
- Assist with exercise and socialization for pets.
- Report sick pets or unusual behavior to veterinary staff.
- Report broken or damaged equipment or areas to the manager.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment.
Required profile
- Available to work part‑time, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal, communication, organization, and math skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Some animal handling or grooming experience preferred.
