Permit and Data Analyst Coordinator

About the role

The Permit and Data Analyst Coordinator supports LSU's parking permit programs by ensuring data accuracy, generating insightful reports, and overseeing the permit management system. This role bridges operational needs with data‑driven decision‑making, working closely with campus partners to keep permit services efficient and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain recurring reports on permit sales, inventory, utilization, revenue, and waitlists.
• Monitor sales trends by permit type, customer group, zone, and time period, providing visualizations for leadership.
• Assist annual and semester permit planning with historical data, projections, and comparative analysis.
• Validate data accuracy before distribution and maintain documentation of reporting standards.
• Administer the parking permit management system: configure permit types, eligibility rules, dates, and access settings.
• Identify and resolve data‑quality issues such as duplicate records or inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal staff, vendors, and technology partners to troubleshoot system problems and support testing before major sales periods.
