Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

About the role

Helpware is building a multi‑tenant B2B AI platform for customer‑support operations. We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to own the reliability, security and operability of our AWS‑based infrastructure and to enable our development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architecture on AWS, focusing on security, reliability, performance, cost optimization and operational excellence.
• Own the AWS footprint, including ECS Fargate, Lambda, Batch, RDS PostgreSQL, ElastiCache Redis, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Bedrock and related services.
• Manage infrastructure as code (Terraform) for repeatable provisioning across dev, test, staging and production environments.
• Operate the observability stack (OpenTelemetry, Langfuse) and maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards and SLOs per tenant.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, secrets management, artifact/image pipelines and deployment strategies (blue/green, rolling).
• Support product teams with environment issues, deployments and performance debugging.
• Maintain security posture for SOC 2, HIPAA and GDPR compliance, including least‑privilege IAM, network isolation, encryption and audit trails.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in platform, SRE or DevOps roles operating production workloads on AWS.
• Proven ability to design, implement and maintain large‑scale, multi‑tenant cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR).
