P&C Liability Bodily Injury Adjuster

About the role

Davies North America is seeking a Bodily Injury Adjuster to handle third‑party General Liability, Auto Liability, Errors & Omissions, and Law Enforcement claims involving bodily injury or personal injury. This full‑time, remote position may require occasional travel for client meetings, seminars, or on‑site investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Review new claim assignments within 24 hours and develop a plan of action.
• Contact insureds or claimants promptly, gather evidence, and obtain statements.
• Assign appraisers, coordinate estimates, and evaluate their adequacy.
• Prepare and submit payment authorizations following client guidelines.
• Maintain a 95 % claim‑closure ratio and report to excess carriers as required.
• Manage attorney involvement, defense counsel communications, and compliance with Medicare and sovereign immunity rules.

Required profile

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Valid Adjuster license with maintained CEU credits.
• Strong knowledge of tort law, bad‑faith procedures, and medical terminology.
• Prior experience settling bodily‑injury claims.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
