Patient Care Technician – Inpatient (TOSH)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Patient Care Technician to work in the TOSH inpatient unit. This is a day‑shift, on‑site position supporting the nursing team and delivering direct patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assistance under the supervision of nursing staff.
• Monitor vital signs and report observations to the clinical team.
• Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment in the inpatient unit.

Required profile

• Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work the designated day shift.
• Current affiliation with the University of Arkansas System (employees, student employees, or graduate assistants) is preferred for application access.
