Part‑Time Server

About the role

The Server will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for members and guests at The Madison Club, delivering attentive service and detailed knowledge of the menu.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, anticipate needs, and respond quickly to requests.
• Present extensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, specials, and beverage pairings.
• Enter transactions accurately in the POS system, issue checks, and close sales.
• Ensure food orders are complete, accurate, and meet allergy requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food‑safety standards in the work area.
• Complete opening and closing duties, inventory, and report maintenance or safety issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of serving experience in a fast‑paced, high‑end restaurant, club or resort.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lb for extended periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Knowledge of ServSafe/HACCP food‑safety standards.
• Robust knowledge of wines, cocktails, beer and beverage pairings.
