Part‑Time Logistics & Supply Chain Management Instructor

About the role

Columbus Technical College is seeking a part‑time (adjunct) instructor for its Logistics and Supply Chain Management program. Under general supervision the instructor will develop lesson plans, deliver classroom and online instruction, evaluate student progress, and support recruitment and retention efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver effective, individualized instruction to class members in logistics and supply chain topics.
• Ensure compliance with technical college policies and safety requirements in classrooms and labs.
• Select and obtain appropriate educational materials, maintaining consistency across syllabi, lesson plans, tests, and coursework.
• Monitor and maintain supplies, equipment, and facilities needed for the program.
• Assist with recruiting, marketing, and retention activities for the department.
• Participate in the design and execution of special events, projects, and activities as requested.
• Demonstrate a high level of effort, commitment, and trustworthy behavior within the organizational structure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field or a Master’s with 18 semester hours in logistics/supply chain.
• Preferred: At least one year of post‑secondary teaching experience.
