About the role
The Columbus Technical College Cosmetology Program is seeking a part‑time Instructional Aide to support students and instructors in hair, skin and nail training.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor students during skilled and basic cosmetology training.
- Assist instructors and students with classroom activities and demonstrations.
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and clean laboratory environments.
- Demonstrate current cosmetology procedures and ensure safety standards.
- Provide effective oral and written communication with students and staff.
- Potentially teach high‑school students and travel across designated counties.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Hands‑on experience in cosmetology services (hair, skin, nails) and reception duties.
- Current Georgia State Board of Cosmetology Master License.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong work ethic and customer‑service orientation.
